Export the CSV from Commonwealth Bank
- 1
Open the account in NetBank
Log on to NetBank and choose the linked account whose transactions you want to export.
- 2
Choose the period
Use Advanced search above the transaction list when you need a specific date range, then select Export.
- 3
Export CSV
Choose Comma Separated Values (CSV) and export the original transaction file. NetBank limits a search or export to 600 transactions.
These steps were checked against the bank's current transaction export guide. Labels can change when its app or website is updated.
Which Commonwealth Bank export mooola can import
mooola currently recognises selected netbank transaction csv exports containing date, signed amount, details, and balance. Support is based on the CSV structure, not only the filename or bank name.
Import the CSV into mooola
- 1
Choose Commonwealth Bank
Open Import data in mooola and select Commonwealth Bank.
- 2
Select the original CSV
Choose the unchanged CSV downloaded from Commonwealth Bank. mooola checks the file structure before importing transactions.
- 3
Review the import
Compare the imported dates and amounts with the original export, review the import summary, then tap Done.
If the Commonwealth Bank CSV does not import
- Confirm you selected the CSV export described in this guide rather than a PDF, spreadsheet, payment receipt, or account-confirmation document.
- Use the original download without opening and resaving it in spreadsheet software, which can change dates, separators, decimals, or encoding.
- Check that the file contains transaction rows for the selected period, not only balances or a summary.
- The bank may have changed its headers or your account language may produce a variation that is not recognised yet.
Your Commonwealth Bank CSV stays on your device
mooola reads the selected CSV locally. It does not connect to Commonwealth Bank, request banking credentials, or upload the file for parsing. Temporary file-picker copies are removed after import.
