What mooola provides

mooola is a personal finance organisation and insight tool. It imports supported bank-statement formats, stores the resulting data locally on your device, and presents summaries intended to help you understand your own finances.

Features, supported banks and formats, release availability, and compatibility may change as the app develops. We may update, suspend, or discontinue a feature where reasonably necessary.

Not financial advice

mooola provides general information based on data available to the app. It does not provide financial, investment, tax, accounting, credit, or legal advice. You remain responsible for financial decisions and should obtain professional advice where appropriate.

Your responsibilities

You are responsible for selecting the correct statement and bank, reviewing imported information for accuracy, protecting access to your device, maintaining any backups you need, and using the app lawfully. Do not attempt to interfere with the app or its supporting services, bypass security controls, or use them to harm others.

You must have the right to use any information you import. Do not submit sensitive banking or personal information through feedback or support messages.

Accuracy and availability

Statement layouts and source data can change or contain errors. Imports, categories, calculations, merchant matches, reminders, and insights may therefore be incomplete, delayed, or inaccurate. Review important information against the original statement or your bank’s records.

We aim to keep mooola reliable but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free availability. Beta and pre-release versions may contain defects and should not be your only record of financial information.

Privacy and development information

The app has no mooola user account or login, does not tell us who you are through ordinary use, and does not send us your statements, transactions, or other banking data. Our Privacy Policy explains this local data model and how limited development activity, optional diagnostics, feedback, and separate website information are handled.

Basic first-launch and successful-import activity and detailed import-failure reporting are separate, optional features that are off by default. They contain no app-user identity, persistent identifier, statement, or transaction data. You may choose either during setup or later in Settings and turn either off at any time. We use this information only for development analytics, debugging, and improving reliability. It is not shared with Meta, X, or Google Ads, sold, used for advertising, or used to profile you or your finances.

The consent-managed Google tag and the optional Meta and X pixels are used only on the website and are not included in or connected to the app. The Privacy Policy explains the limited cookieless signals Google receives when advertising consent is denied.

Intellectual property

mooola, its design, software, content, and branding are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These Terms give you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the app; they do not transfer ownership.

Third-party services

Some features or links rely on app stores, operating-system services, public logo services, or other third parties. Their own terms and privacy practices apply to their services, and we are not responsible for services they control.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, mooola is provided “as is” and without warranties that it will meet every need or that imported information will always be complete or accurate. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the app, reliance on its output, loss of locally stored data, or third-party services.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits a right or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including rights you may have under applicable consumer-protection law.

Changes and termination

We may update these Terms as mooola or legal requirements change. We will post the revised Terms with a new effective date and provide additional notice where reasonably practicable for a material change. You may stop using mooola at any time and can remove local app data through the app or by uninstalling it.
