Prepare the supported FNB PDF
Download the original digital transaction statement from FNB. mooola targets digital RAND transaction statements and selected Online Banking Enterprise PDF layouts.
Confirm transaction text can be selected in the PDF. Scanned statements, photographs, screenshots, and converted documents do not contain the reliable text structure required for import.
Import the statement

Choose FNB
Open Import data in mooola and select FNB.

Select the original PDF
Choose the downloaded statement. mooola reads it locally and checks transaction counts, totals, and running balances where the format provides them.

Review and finish
Review the import summary, including new, updated, unchanged, and ignored records, then tap Done.
If the FNB statement does not import
- Confirm it is a transaction statement, not a proof of account, payment confirmation, or screenshot.
- Check that the currency and statement layout match a supported RAND transaction format.
- Use the original FNB PDF without printing, scanning, editing, or recompressing it.
- Some account types, Enterprise layouts, or newly changed formats may not yet be recognised.
Overlapping statement periods
You can import an updated statement that overlaps earlier dates. mooola reconciles matching data and reports new, updated, unchanged, and ignored transactions so repeated imports do not blindly duplicate records.
Private, on-device import
mooola parses the PDF on your device. It does not connect to FNB, request banking credentials, or upload the statement for processing. Temporary file-picker copies are removed after import.
