Prepare the supported Investec PDF
Download the original digital bank account statement from Investec. mooola currently recognises selected bank account statement layouts with value and transaction dates, debit and credit amounts, and running balances.
Open the PDF and confirm that transaction text can be selected. Image-only scans, photos, screenshots, printed-and-scanned statements, and converted documents are not supported.
Import the statement

Choose Investec
Open Import data in mooola and select Investec.

Select the original PDF
Choose the statement from the file picker. mooola reads and validates its recognised bank account transaction structure locally.

Review the result
Check which transactions are new, updated, unchanged, or ignored, then tap Done.
If the Investec statement does not import
- Confirm it is a bank account statement layout currently supported by mooola.
- Check that the PDF contains selectable text.
- Use the original bank download without editing, scanning, or converting it.
- A different account type, investment statement, or a recently changed layout may not yet be recognised.
Importing the same period again
mooola reconciles recognised transaction records across repeated or overlapping statements. The import summary shows exactly what changed instead of silently creating duplicate entries.
Your Investec data stays on your device
mooola parses the selected PDF locally. It does not connect to Investec, request bank credentials, or upload the statement for processing. Temporary file-picker copies are removed after import.
