Prepare the supported Standard Bank PDF
Download the original digital statement from Standard Bank. mooola currently supports selected three-month statement and legacy transaction statement layouts.
Open the document and confirm you can select transaction text. A scanned, photographed, screenshot, or converted PDF is not supported.
Import the statement

Choose Standard Bank
Open Import data in mooola and select Standard Bank.

Choose the statement from your device. mooola reads and validates the recognised layout locally.

Review the summary
Check the new, updated, unchanged, and ignored transaction counts, then tap Done.
If the Standard Bank statement does not import
- Confirm it is a supported three-month or legacy transaction statement, not another account document.
- Check that the PDF contains selectable text.
- Use the untouched file downloaded from Standard Bank.
- A changed design, unusual layout, or different account type may not yet be supported.
Repeated or overlapping imports
mooola reconciles recognised records when statement periods overlap. The import summary distinguishes new, updated, unchanged, and ignored items so re-importing does not blindly duplicate everything.
Private processing on your device
The Standard Bank PDF is parsed locally. mooola does not connect to Standard Bank, ask for banking credentials, or upload the file for parsing. Temporary file-picker copies are removed after import.
